This was a CookAble kit, got on deep discount. The original has broccoli but hahahahaha fuck no.
Maybe 3 strips worth of very fatty bacon
2 1/2 cups water
1/4 c rigatoni pasta
some diced carrots or kernel corn
some sour cream (2 individual tubes, or the equiv from a tub)
some cream cheese (2 individual packets, or the equiv from a tub)
1 1/2 Tbsp fresh minced garlic
1/4 c parmesan cheese
Instructions
Heat large pot over medium-high heat. Add finely diced bacon and cook until golden brown and crispy, 4-5 minutes. Turn heat off, add 'bold italian seasoning' and stir, then add water carefully, add rigatoni pasta, turn to high and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and cook covered for 10-12 minutes until pasta is tender.
(While this is going on, either microwave diced carrots, or heat frozen corn.)
There will be water left in the pot, DO NOT DRAIN.
When pasta is done, reduce heat to low. Add garlic, cream cheese, sour cream, stir until a sauce has formed.
Add your carrots (or broccoli, if you like that) or corn, cover, steam the veg for 2-3 minutes. Then add parmesan and stir vigorously until the cheese has melted.
Taste, salt if necessary, add salt and pepper as desired, serve.
